Michigan Educational CU Donates to “BUY CUSO” Campaign

Newport Beach, Calif. (Aug. 28, 2008) – The National Association of Credit Union Service Organizations (NACUSO) announced the Michigan Educational Credit Union recently donated $2,500 to support the on-going “BUY CUSO” advertising campaign.  The contribution was delivered by Bill Brunton, president/CEO of Michigan Educational Credit Union, headquartered in Plymouth, Michigan.

NACUSO Announces Jim Jerving Hired as NACUSO.org Blog Manager

Newport Beach, Calif. (June 9, 2008) – The National Association of Credit Union Service Organizations (NACUSO) announced, today, that professional writer and editor Jim Jerving has been hired to write and manage NACUSO’s new blog journal entries.  The redesigned NACUSO.org Web site, featuring a new blog and graphic look, was launched April 28, during the NACUSO 2008 Annual Conference in Las Vegas.  Jerving’s responsibilities as blog manager officially began June 1, 2008.

NACUSO Announces Director Election Results at 2008 Annual Conference

Las Vegas, Nev. (April 28, 2008) Following the close of business April 24, 2008, eligible members of the National Association of Credit Union Service Organizations (NACUSO) had cast their votes to determine the election of their newest NACUSO Board Directors. The election results were officially announced Monday afternoon, April 28, during the NACUSO Members’ Annual Meeting, part of the NACUSO 2008 Annual Conference proceedings, at the Wynn Las Vegas Hotel. Doug Petersen, CEO of Workers’ Financial Services, Fitchburg, Massachusetts, now begins his first term serving on the NACUSO board.

Campaign Urges Credit Unions to Consider CUSO Solutions First, Then “BUY CUSO”

Las Vegas, Nev. (April 29, 2008) – The National Association of Credit Union Service Organizations (NACUSO) announced the roll-out of a new “BUY CUSO” advertising campaign, during proceedings at the NACUSO 2008 Annual Conference in Las Vegas, today. BUY CUSO is a NACUSO sponsored campaign created to increase the awareness of CUSOs as providers of effective solutions to the credit union industry, through collaboration with CUSOs. In addition, BUY CUSO is designed to educate the industry on the benefits and expertise of credit union-owned CUSOs and third-party partners.
