NACUSO Salutes David Serlo and Valorie Seyfert, Recipients of the Prestigious 2008 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year Awards

NACUSO wants to recognize the recent achievements of two of its members and Platinum Partners. PSCU Financial Services CEO, and NACUSO board chairman, David Serlo, St. Petersburg, Florida, won the 2008 Ernst & Young Florida Entrepreneur Of The Year® Award. In addition, CUSO Financial Services, LP CEO Valorie Seyfert, San Diego, California, received the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2008 Award in the business services category in the greater San Diego region.

The credit union industry is going through a radical structural shift. Have you noticed?

The examination of long past historical events permits one to have a sweeping perspective. The big changes can be seen as being influenced and propelled by a collection of small events. People who live during historical changes may or may not be able to connect the dots and understand the significance of the small events at the time. NACUSO Announces Jim Jerving Hired as NACUSO.org Blog Manager

Newport Beach, Calif. (June 9, 2008) – The National Association of Credit Union Service Organizations (NACUSO) announced, today, that professional writer and editor Jim Jerving has been hired to write and manage NACUSO’s new blog journal entries.  The redesigned NACUSO.org Web site, featuring a new blog and graphic look, was launched April 28, during the NACUSO 2008 Annual Conference in Las Vegas.  Jerving’s responsibilities as blog manager officially began June 1, 2008.

2008 NACUSO Collaboration & Innovation Award Winner Announced at NACUSO Conference

Las Vegas, Nev. (April 28, 2008) – The formal announcement of the 2008 NACUSO Collaboration and Innovation Award winner was made official today, during a general session special awards presentation, at the NACUSO 2008 Annual Conference in Las Vegas. The 2008 premier award winner was CU*Answers. Randy Karnes, CEO, accepted the award for CU*Answers, a one hundred percent credit union-owned CUSO located in Grand Rapids, Michigan, offering a wide-variety of services, including its flagship CU*BASE processing system, to credit unions nationally. The purpose of the NACUSO award is to recognize those CUSOs, from across the U.S., using collaboration and innovation to create a strong, vibrant credit union industry.
