PSCU’s Lumin Digital to Provide Shell Federal Credit Union with Retail Digital Banking Support

Lumin Digital, a PSCU company, today announced that Shell Federal Credit Union (Shell FCU) has signed a multi-year commitment for Lumin Digital’s cloud-based platform as the credit union’s digital banking solution for its membership. Shell FCU will have more than 70,000 active users when the credit union launches on the platform, which is slated for February 2021.

Chartered in 1937 and headquartered in Deer Park, Texas, Shell FCU’s purpose is to serve its members through leadership that is committed to keeping the credit union strong, aggressive and financially sound. The credit union was seeking a partner that shows leadership in the digital banking space, and is also tightly integrated with many of Shell FCU’s existing vendors and partners. Lumin Digital was the ideal fit.

“In looking for partners, we found Lumin Digital offers an innovative product that is constantly evolving, making it easy to implement refinements whenever we want without forcing downtime,” said Willie Lewis, Vice President of Projects at Shell FCU. “Our staff immediately felt an emotional connection with the product – the design and its focus on member engagement were key factors in our decision. We look forward to making Lumin Digital available to our members next year.”

As a cloud-based digital banking platform built using cutting-edge technology, Lumin Digital provides members with a tightly integrated and customized experience that matches the offerings available from larger financial institutions. In creating a truly personalized journey, Lumin Digital helps credit unions better engage with their members, increase value and deepen relationships.

“We are extremely pleased to provide Shell FCU and its members with the flexibility and freedom that our digital banking product and support offer, and we look forward to helping the credit union effectively serve its members through the new platform,” said Jeff Chambers, President of Lumin Digital.
