Birds do it, Bees do it, Now it Seems Even Big Banks Will do it.

Banks just said it, “Let’s do it, let’s fall in love … with the CUSO model!”

NACUSO Blog.001It’s finally happened. Big banks are embracing the 6th cooperative principle in their own bank-ish way by collaborating to gain efficiency and save money. Nothing altruistic going on here, it’s just business. The Wall Street Journal reported that J.P. Morgan Chase & Co., Goldman Sachs Group and Morgan Stanley have agreed to create an entity (like a CUSO) which will “create a stream of consistent data that banks use to help determine pricing and transaction costs.”  Continue reading Birds do it, Bees do it, Now it Seems Even Big Banks Will do it.
