CU*Answers announced that $96M Sycamore, Illinois-based Illinois Community Credit Union recently executed a contract to change its existing core data processing platform to the CU*Answers CU*BASE® system, the CUSO’s flagship solution. Over 10,500 Illinois Community Credit Union members will be converted in October 2020.
Illinois Community Credit Union CEO Thor Dolan said: “ICCU is excited to be working with CU*Answers as our core processor. CU*Answers feels like the right fit for our organization, and as a CUSO, we believe there is greater symmetry between their services and our credit union. Along with the expense reduction and efficiencies that their core provides, we believe we will experience even greater service levels and responsiveness as a member-owner”.
“We’re incredibly excited to have Illinois Community join our network of credit unions,” added Scott Collins, CU*Answers executive vice president of national sales and marketplace relations. “As a cooperative, we understand that what has fostered our CUSO’s growth has not just been the products and services we’ve offered over the years, but the participation and engagement of our customers and owners. We thrive together, and as our firm approaches its 50th anniversary in 2020, we’re confident it’s precisely through that cooperation and shared vision that we’ll continue for 50 more years.”
